All applications for leave must be made by completing a Leave of Absence form at least 4 weeks in advance, explaining the circumstance surrounding the request. In making the decision about whether to authorise the leave, school will consider the circumstances of each application individually, including the student’s attendance record.

Max H in year 7 - Well done Max for starting year 7 in such a smashing way! Max is a role model to others. He is well behaved, listens well and constantly participates during the lesson. It is clear Max has an interest in RE and this is shown through his super knowledge and hard work.

Emily G in year 8 - Emily is intelligent, knowledgeable and thinks critically. Emily works hard and supports the students around her. Her work and book are excellent, and she is a role model for the rest of the class. Keep it up Emily!

Sienna C in year 8 - Sienna has made great progress this year in RE! Her attitude to learning, knowledge base and presence in the lesson has transformed. Kendrick M in year 9 - Kendrick has worked hard every lesson I have taught him this year. He wants to contribute, is thinking critically about RE and expresses his ideas well. He volunteers to help in lessons and works well with those around him. Great work Kendrick!

Lara W in year 9 - Lara has greatly impressed me this half term! She is always well engaged, attentive and thinking in a thoughtful and evaluative manner. Lara makes great contributions to the lesson, supports her peers and is a joy to have in the room. Such a super star!

Evangeline W in year 10 - Evangeline is a credit to the GCSE RE team and is a model student by many standards. Evangeline is hardworking and dedicated to applying herself in everything she does inside and outside the classroom. She is always focused, engaged and has high aspirations. Rayaan D in year 10 - Very good start to GCSE! Rayan is a very bright student with a fountain of knowledge. He is well equipped with the tools to do well in RE; he communicates his ideas well, thinks critically, remains engaged and is building great evaluative skills. Great work, Rayan!

Nathan G in year 11 - Nathan thinks deeply about RE and contributes well to the class. His understanding of the GCSE is strong and his ability to articulate his own opinion can be to a good A-level standard. Nathan is intelligent, hardworking and engaged with his GCSE. Well done, Nathan!
