Of all the presenters, I resonated the most with Dr. Beth Pickard of the University of South Wales. She gave a brilliant presentation on "The Hierarchy of Knowledge in Higher Education: Privileging the Expertise of Disabled People ​
Through Social Confluence​"

This sparked a valid conversation around the subject of inclusivity and how it is integral in today's very diverse learning environment. Beth's publication identified that

"Academics with chronic illness, disabilities or ​
neurodiversity are practically unseen and starkly ​
under-represented in comparison to students with ​
disabilities or disabled people in the general public "
