Going back to the moment / experience shared, think of what may be the reasons leading to feel so? 

For example, I felt excited during the mobile charity because the experience allowed me a 1st time face to face service experience. 

Consolidating and after hearing everyone’s sharing now. Share two points;

We also obtained a sense of achievement as we saw the smiles they had on their faces when we were helping them, compelling us to participate in such volunteering events again.

This experience helped me deepen my compassion for those in need and allowed me to further empathise with their situation. I will continue volunteering in various areas, such as mobile food delivery when given the chance to, as well as encourage others around me to volunteer. I will also help others in need when I see them in my community.

While helping them and giving them the food trolleys, some of them also engaged in conversation, which was quite fun as we got to learn more about them while also talking with them and making their day.

I particularly enjoyed the conversations as they seemed quite happy or passionate when they talked about certain topics, so I was glad I could give them such an opportunity.

I also got to help a lot of people, which is something I am passionate about as I genuinely enjoy helping others.

Overall, the experience was quite great as it was a rare opportunity, and I was able to help a lot of different people of all different kinds by ushering them, guiding them, or simply talking to and helping them out in general.

I personally feel that the experience has allowed me to refresh and recall how I felt in the past, when I helped out during an event for the elderly at Whampoa Community Centre, and reminded me of the feeling of being able to help others.

My group will carry on further to continue making a difference to the community in various ways and aspects of life.

Some of us may volunteer again in the future, and others may grow up to take on professions that benefit and impact the community or ourselves.

Additionally, some residents have a relatively "boring" life. Thus, it was important that we made the game station. In the future, we can also make it more inclusive and allow even children to play.

Some of the residents are of socio-economic statuses, thus we should help them. Participating in such events is one good way to accomplish this.

Some residents/ people in Singapore are simply are not as fortunate as others. We are all humans, thus we should all work to support and help one another, regardless of our differences.

We learnt how to empathise and communicate clearly with people that we don't know.

We shalt go onward on our conquest to assist as many individuals as we possibly can by partaking in various community events such as beach cleaning.

would absolutely love the opportunity to engage with the community through this service learning experience. After hearing many sharings by friends and classmates, they all can atest to it being a fruitful and meaningful experience that they would attend again and that they learnt a lot from it.
