LG: We are learning to use the Pencil & Blob brush tools are able to add freeform shapes to our designs.

Day 1: Introduce Final project - Creating an alphabet - combined name, intro & demo converting text to shape. Begin sketching 2 ideas
Day 2: finish sketching & Post the 2 Thumbnail sketches

EQ: How can an image be digitized using Illustrator?
LG: Using the tools that have been learned from Unit 4, create digitized images that can be used as an alphabet.

Day 1:  Continue digitizing thumbnail letter designs
Day 2: Continue digitizing thumbnail letter designs

Day 3: Continue digitizing thumbnail letter designs

• Grading will include these 3 sections:

Details: How much detail is included in your images? How are the drawn lines describing your image?

Coloring: Is your coloring precise? Do you have multiple colors for each image?

Layout: Are your letters aligned on the bottom & the top? Is your first & last name/phrase centered? Is the sizing of your letters consistent?

LG: Use the skills that have been learned over the semester in Illustrator to create your name using letters and images.

Day 1: FINAL: Final project - Alphabet
