According to Jefferson, it is more important to perform the law rather than make them. The power to execute the law basically relates to the President's power to perform the laws that provides the CEO with more power. The power to execute the laws involves all federal laws which includes social security, immigration environmental protection, taxes, etc.

Many people as in the President, Congress, courts, have lots to say about the meaning of laws. (Laws that Congress pass are wide and they set out basic policies and standards to be obeyed). For example, immigration laws require that all immigrants who seek permanent admission to this country must be able to "read and understand variety of languages. (details come from the executive branch)

The executive orders are commands, rules, or regulations that have the effect of low. The authority to address these orders is called the ordinance power which comes from the Constitution (power to issue the necessary orders, as well, the power to execute them) and acts of Congress.

The power of executive privilege has to do with the nation's CEO insisting the Constitution to give the President the inherent power to turn down to reveal certain information to Congress or federal courts. (Decisions for the E.P. are usually made through conversations between Presidents and advisors) An example : In a national security, privileges cannot be used to stop proof from being heard in a criminal proceeding.

Nominations of the appointment are sent to the Senate! They will approve federal appointees at best acceptable to the senators of the President's party. The President appoints Ambassadors, public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all Officers of the U.S. Presidents can also make "recess appointment" which basically is when a person is chosen to fill a position while the senate is not there. Presidents don't make much recess appointments but the number increases when the President's party doesn't control the Senate.

The Power of Removal #3

There is nothing said about how, by whom, or why an appointed officer is removed. People state that if the Senate approves appointments then it should also involve removal. This is key to the congressional supervision! The President has power to remove any officer he appointed but not federal judges. It got to a point where the Congress tried to limit the President's freedom to dismiss. There was a law in 1876 that needed the Senate's consent to dismiss any 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-class postmaster. The act (FTC) is a law that removes members for "inefficiency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office." Overall, the President can remove anyone he appoints. A dismissal is also known as a resignation.

The President has the power to permit reprieves and pardons for crimes but not in cases of impeachment! A reprieve is basically a delay for the punishment of someone specifically a prisoner. A pardon is basically a legal forgiveness of a crime. They are offered after a person is convicted in court but the President can forgive a criminal before they were even charged but it is rare. Clemency is mercy so the power of clemency is to have mercy on a person involved with federal offenses.

The President is the chief legislator by utilizing with skilled roles of the chief of party and chief citizen. Some of the President's legislative powers consist the power to sign or veto laws, order the armed forces, and grant reprieves and pardons.

The President has four options once a measure is accepted by Congress. (1) The President signs the bill to make it a law or he can forbid it which goes back to Congress. (2) Congress can reject the veto by a two-thirds vote in each of its two chambers. (3) The President permits a bill to become law by not acting on it by not signing it not vetoing it within 10 days besides Sunday. (4) This is the pocket veto! It can used at the end of a congressional session, ONLY. Pocket veto is when the the Constitution gives the president 10 days to evaluate a measure passed by the Congress and if the president doesn't sign the bill after 10 days then it becomes a law without his signature but if Congress breaks off during the 10 days, the bill does not become law. Signing statements had to do with pointing out constitutional or problems the Presidents saw in a law and directing the manner in which a new law was applied.
