For this design, I drew inspiration from the bold prints and motifs of the Farm Rio brand, selecting the Bird of Paradise flower as my central element. The background is created with coffee, and the vibrant petals are painted with watercolour. All feedback on the use of colour, texture, and how it aligns with the Farm Rio aesthetic is greatly appreciated!

This final proposal draws on the vibrant motifs of Farm Rio, using the Bird of Paradise flower as a central inspiration. The design features a repeated pattern created with a mix of media: watercolour, coloured pencils, and felt pens. I used an Artline pen for some of the outlines to add definition.I'd love to hear your thoughts on how the repetition and the different media work together in this piece.

The first proposal consists of a broken line motif drawn in a repeated pattern to create a border design using a fine tip pen. The main body of the design was drawn using a brush tip pen to create a more realistic motif to match farm rio's aesthetic.

Second proposal

This design was made by a cutout motif to create a border design to reflect techniques used by farm rio and the top designs to be an appliqué work using interfacing fabric and acrylic paint to make flower designs. Critical comments would help improve my work.

Third proposal

This print was made to appear bolder to match farm rio's perfect mix and matching of contrasting colors anf unique approach to blending textures. A simple repeated pattern design motif with a bold yellow background and soft pink flowers. A critical analysis of the work would be much appreciated and a personal thought about which of these 3 motifs were more successful, unique and most representative of the brand would be helpful.
