         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. To allow people to look back, and for history to not die out, while also passing down generational knowledge and traditions.<br><br>2. It shows how they have stories to tell, and it also shows their perspective of moments they had to live through to define themselves.<br><br>3. I believe he's trying entertain/inform people that we shouldn't allow history to fade.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe it was a bit bias, they were just explaining both sides of the story and how people have fought for better representation, but didn't really show a lot about how others were arguing that it wasn't being used in a derogatory manner.<br><br>I'm not sure what should be done, but it really depends on everyone as a whole to talk about it and say "hey, this should/shouldn't be allowed"&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It shows that the devil was depicted as an evil spirit, possessing people while he rules the underworld as a fallen angel.&nbsp;<br><br>I think the writers from the Romantic period started to shift away from the good style because it allowed them to make not only more stories, but also give readers new genres to expand on, and also allowed for the use of darker themes that the Dark Romantics could use.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Metaphors are a way to talk about one thing, while describing something else/creates images in a persons mind.<br><br>2. Using an extended metaphor means creating a short/long visual for a person by describing one thing, but talking about another.<br><br>3. My classes are like the world on my shoulders. Like atlas, I carry them on my back as I try to continue. But class after class gives off assignment after assignment. Just as I have dropped the weight, I am given another world to hold the next day.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the realism style, the character looks unhappy but also the style of it looks more real. In the romantic style the character looks happier, dressed fancier, and the style is just a little different.&nbsp;<br><br>Realism painting focuses on darker lighting and older character, romantic focuses on brighter colors and younger character.<br><br>One defining difference would be sadness vs happiness.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>Women started to work in place of men leaving for the army, and desired to keep working even when war was over. Families also grew smaller with decreased birthrates.</p></li><li><p>Positive changes that occurred were more open opportunities for women in the work force. More children were able to go to school.</p></li><li><p>Two negative results would be decreased birthrates leading to smaller families, and children having to help more at home.</p></li></ol>]]></description>
