they do this by carrying out risk assessments, and adding control measures where needed. they also need to train all employees on risks that could occur while in work.
And every employer should provide the correct PPE.
they also have to provide first aid to every employee, and consult all employees on health and safety.
Every workplace needs to have insurance, and all employers have to have a health and safety policy, they have to be able to provide the correct facilities e.g. -toilets, - water, -disabled toilets etc.
And all employers have to show health and safety posters.

We took Duffy carefully out and put him into a cat carrier so we could then take out everything in his challet which consisted of two scratch poles bunch of toys and his food, water bowls and his cat litter tray. We completely cleaned these out heather and Chelsey gave the scratch poles a scrub and used anigene which is a antibacterial friendly to all animals. Keeping any pet means that the 5 freedoms should always take priority before animals get settled into their new homes:
1st Freedom: the need for a suitable environment.
2nd Freedom: the need for a suitable diet 
3rd Freedom: the need to exhibit natural behaviour patterns.
4th Freedom:the need to be housed with or apart from other animals.
5th Freedom: the need to be protected from pain, Injury, and disease.
