That morning each boy grabbed a gun to hunt with, they all shared each other's gun but one of them used the Remington to shoot Grant. The weather was chilly with dead leaves surrounding the ground. After one of them shot Grant they all dropped their guns so they were unable to see who had the Remington. Two boys dropped to the ground crying at the fact Grant was shot, one boy was standing seemed unable to move at all, the other one was studied the gun piles on the ground.
