James I(1603-1625)

I am King James I and I was the first Puritan King of England and I took over from the great Queen Elizabeth.I was the first King to translate the Bible into English and we called it The King James Bible. I was honored to be the King founded one the most prominent settlements in the newly acquired lands of America. I named it Jamestown.

Charles I (1625-1649)

I Charles I and I had a feud with Parliament which led me to dissolving the government. This feud turned to a big war called the English Civil War which happened in 1642. We had went against the Roundheads but sadly we were defeated.

Oliver Cromwell(1649-1658)

I Oliver Cromwell started as a military leader during The English Civil War, also I was a Puritan Army General. Since I succeed I was then crowned the Lord protecter where I ruled England until I died in 1658. I changed the government of England by canceling the monarchy and starting the Commonwealth.

I James II am the Roman Catholic Brother of Charles II. My brother had 12 kids who were his but not his wife's therefore I would be the last Roman Catholic King of England, Ireland, and Scotland. With England being mostly Protestant a different King had upset them and faced a lot of religious challenges.

William & Mary (1688-1702)

I am Mary the daughter of king James but unlike him I was raised protestant. Then I married my first cousin William. Our rule began the Constitutional monarchy. AS of this we passed the English Bill of Rights in 1689 which limited that monarchy.
