A lot of the time it sounds like students dont realize the importance of getting out of these course as well as being in them when needed</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I have so many ideas from today's session! The biggest impact is remembering that our ELD classes are not simply an intervention, but rather core instruction. Seeing the strategies modeled reminded me to take off my English teacher "hat" and be intentional with language instruction. Modeling HOW we use language will have the biggest impact on student mastery. </p>]]></description>

The ELD class in itself is a class for "core instruction" which provides students with targeted instruction on how English works to build their English proficiency. </p>]]></description>
