I think that the character sound of running feet from the story ''Thunder rolling in the mountains.'' is kind of like a leader. Everybody in the group of people follows her, and I would describe her as spicy, and little rude. She also hates white people for being on there because she shot the pan of gold with her rifle.

I can tell the narrator is feisty because of how she acts. A detail for this is when she shot the pan this was probably a warning to the white people about being on their land. Also with what the boy said she wanted to say something but it would've caused trouble. One more detail is on page 2 when she saw the aspen trees cut down she responded "White people, Indians do not build cabins" which makes me think she wanted to find whoever did and have a word with them. Overall, this is what I think of the main character Sound Of Running Feet.

I would describe The sound of running feet is brave and fearless because the girl is going up to the cabin with her cousin's or friends and she has no idea who is in there. The people who are in the cabin are a man and woman and surprisingly a Native American boy. The by was there because he had a mixed place of murder and he was kicked out of the tribe. The girl had a rival and she shooted the pan so they thought it was some kind of warning to those people.
