         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) Ageism<br>a) discriminatory act against usually people who are older but basically is to shame someone for their age.&nbsp;<br>b)&nbsp;<br>- negative portrayals of older individuals in the media can reinforce stereotypes. When they are depicted as frail, forgetful, or dependent, it can shape perceptions and contribute to ageism.<br>- if individuals have limited exposure to older adults, they may be more likely to hold prejudice beliefs about them.<br><br>c) ageism often includes stereotypical beliefs about older individuals, such as assuming they are forgetful, resistant to change, or unable to adapt to new technologies. And so, most of them are discriminated at work, employees may not hire them because they are not tech savy and could be slow at work<br><br>2) Homophobia<br>a) the fear, discomfort with, or mistrust of people who are lesbian, gay, or bisexual.<br><br>b) prejudice and stereotypes against gay people usually stem from ignorance, fear or ingrained biases. Some of examples of stereotypes that gay people have is that they are carriers of STIs and that gay people are paedophiles.&nbsp;<br><br>c) Verbal abuse can lead to emotional distress, while physical violence can result in physical harm or death. Bullying can have severe psychological effects, and social exclusion can result from isolation and exclusion from social circles. Workplace discrimination, housing discrimination, and legal discrimination can further exacerbate these issues. They get discriminate because of traditional norms often deviate from these, leading to misunderstandings and prejudice. Limited exposure to LGBTQ+ individuals can also rely on stereotypes. Religious beliefs may condemn homosexuality and transgender identities, further perpetuating prejudice. Misconceptions and stereotypes can also contribute to prejudice.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1)Ageism is the term used to describe prejudice, discrimination, or bias towards people or groups based on their age, usually with a focus on senior citizens. It can take many different forms, such as stereotypes, unfavorable attitudes, or uneven treatment, which frequently results in older people being treated unfairly or being excluded from activities such as job, healthcare, and social networks.<br><br>Homophobia is an unjustified fear, hostility, or prejudice that is directed towards those who identify as LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and other similar identities). It might manifest as prejudiced behavior, hate speech, or inaccurate perceptions of LGBTQ+ people or relationships. Homophobia can lead to LGBTQ+ people being marginalised, subjected to discrimination, and having their wellbeing negatively impacted.<br><br>(Ageism)<br>2)<strong>Youth-Centered Culture</strong>: Youth is highly valued in many countries, which associate it with attractiveness, power, and productivity. Older people may be devalued as a result because they may be viewed as less capable or relevant.<br><br>(Ageism)<br><strong>Media Representation:</strong> Negative stereotypes of older people in media and popular culture can reinforce ageist beliefs. Older characters are sometimes depicted as forgetful, frail, or out of touch.</div><div><br><br>(Homophobia)<br><strong>Religion</strong>: Certain beliefs and interpretations have condemned homosexuality, resulting in prejudice against LGBTQ+ people both within and outside of religious organizations.<br><br>(Homophobia)<br><strong>Traditional Beliefs</strong>: Many communities have long held traditional or conservative views on gender roles and sexuality which can breed prejudice against LGBTQ+ people who defy these standards.<br><br>3)<strong>Economic Factors</strong>: Age discrimination in the workplace can be brought on by beliefs that older workers may be less adaptive or advanced in technology, which can result in bias in recruiting and promotion decisions.<br><br><strong>Housing Discrimination:</strong> LGBTQ+ individuals may face discrimination when seeking housing, such as being denied housing or facing hostile living environments.</div><div><br></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
