         <title>Kings and Queens</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Kings were the top of the social structure and the greatest lords. Kings rule was a monarchy and they were born into it. In a manor the King built a castle that the King would live in. Kings gave vassles land in turn for peasants and protection.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nobles were Kings vassles and sometimes owned their own manor which held lower class nobles and knights. Nobles fought for the king and was very loyal to him, and for a Nobles service he received land. Lower class Nobles gave lords and kings money for special occasions, for example, when the lords daughter gets married. But money wasn't all they gave they also gave lords shelter and food.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In a manor there was a large owned by the lord and little houses for the serfs to live in. The two biggest building in a manor was the lords house/ castle and the church that everybody could go in. their were fields for farming that produced food and also had a blacksmith and a mill. On certain days the lord came around to collect taxes and the lord in a manor controlled everything.<br><br></div>]]></description>

In 1137 Eleanor married King Louis the VII of France, but later in her life she divorced him and married King Henry II and she became the queen of England.
