         <title>CPU</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The purpose of the CPU is to be the 'brain of the computer'. It deals with all of the data and processing required to make tasks possible.</p><p>Firstly, the CPU fetches some data and instructions from main memory then store them in its own internal temporary memory areas. These memory areas are called 'registers'.</p><p>Secondly, the CPU makes sense of the instruction it has just fetched. This process is called 'decode'.</p><p>Lastly the instruction is carried out upon the data, the result of which is stored in another register. Once this has been completed the CPU sets itself up for another cycle.</p>]]></description>
