         <description><![CDATA[<p>Today at NGRREC we took a tour of their different labs and learned about the different freshwater-related tests that they do in this organization. These include microplastic effect testing, macroinvertebrate identification, water testing, and much more. These made me think about how all of these connect in some kind of way, and how one can affect the other. It made me wonder how each of these specific items can show an external factor affecting them. What can we physically see that is proving the affect of a factor?</p>]]></description>

This was important because invasive species such as bush honeysuckle grow and create a canopy blocking other native and beneficial plants from growing. The world can continue to try to remove this invasive species by cutting it down and spraying it with herbicides. This will help forest ecosystems to thrive and become more native.</p>]]></description>
