It runs along one of the busiest road in the city,named after the college itself extending upto a hillock . 
What remains enchanting is the history of the entire premises which has housed thousands of students and has produced leaders in the field of academia, literature ,art and politics.It stands rich with its heritage amidst the hustling street/road that has evolved to be a modern hub of commercial activity,with street shops,road side eateries,book stores,the iconic British Library and other commercial establishments small and big,most of them that cater to the students there.
