Holland was a place were they were blessed by god but they did not come to America in hope of finding Religious freedom. They went across the ocean searching for a new place to live because, they thought that it was too hard to raise their children in Holland. These beliefs cause for women to have no rights. They believed alot of thing that women did were sins, this lack of power for women is how they stated getting accused as witches. Women had no power and men were trying to find a reason for what happend so what better than to blame women. During the Enlightenment what Americans valued most was science and technology.
