So far Clary Fray(the main character) has been attacked by a demon. Her mom was killed by the demon. Clary destroyed the demon right as Jace(A Shadowhunter) walks in. Shadowhunters  are experienced fighters who can kill demons. One funny part is when Jace says that demons are Downworlderers. He says that demons are Satan's servants.
