From there you add the ASSETS on the left hand side and the LIABILITIES on the right hand side. This is in order of liquidity which is listed in which is easiest to convert in cash. Also you add the total ASSETS and total LIABILITIES underneath the sections. In addition, underneath the LIABILITIES is the owners equity which is subtracted from the ASSETS - LIABILITIES = OWNERS EQUITY.
