Once upon a time there was a lady who lived in her beautiful home, adorned with many beautiful flowers and plants. One day the lady decided to take puppies for company and her home, already beautiful, became even more beautiful and cheerful.

One fine day he decided to make his home even more beautiful and decided to have children. So the lady had many children and at the beginning it was all beautiful, but over the years things started to change. The children, at first good and obedient, with time began to behave badly: they began to dirty and destroy all the beautiful things that were in the house; they destroyed the mother's beautiful plants and also killed several animals. Although the house was getting uglier, the children couldn't stop behaving badly.

So it was, that one bad day, the lady now fed up with the behavior of her children decided to punish them and forced them to remain closed each in their own room, without being able to go out to meet with others and to enjoy the beautiful things in the house, but only for to be able to take the food necessary to survive.

After the first weeks of punishment, the children began to feel a great sadness for the beautiful things they couldn’t have and to miss each other; but the mother decided that the punishment, in order to be understood well, had to last longer and kept them closed, each one in his room, for a long time yet.

Now you would like to know if the children learned the lesson and if they started to behave better after this terrible punishment, but to know it we will only have to live our lives, trusting that we will all learn to behave better and to respect our mother earth.

This periodi s very hard, we can’t go out, we can’t see our friends, we can’t go to school. In this period we can’t do all the things we always do. This is strange, before I didn’t want to go to school, but now I miss the school, though I hate the school. In this period I miss the normality.

What do you do at home?

At home there are some things to do.I study, I listen to music, i watch tv and I speak with my friend. In this period I use the phone a lot, because the phone is a tool to communicate with the world, also with the phone and the computer I do my homework. In this period the technology is very important.

Since the 5th of march the whole Italy is quarantined at home, and so the whole world, because of this Coronavirus’ spread; it’s expanding rapidly in all Earth causing thousands of deaths . It’s a difficult period for all of us, it has overwhelmed our life forcing us to stay at home and away from our families and friends, from our habits. Thanks to Internet we can always read new informations about what happens in our hospitals and how this virus can be transmitted its symptoms, and all of these news can easily scare us . Time is passing by and now it’s been a month since we’re quarantined. I’m trying to not think about this and focus my attention on my friends, my family and gaming. It seems so unreal, but I’m really confident it will be over very soon... Sometimes in the morning, when I wake up, I think it’s Saturday or Sunday beacause we’re all at home, but then I realize we’re quarantined and this is so stressful. Lately I whatch television and I see a lot of overwhelmed doctors beacuse of this situation: they aren’t able to save all of their patients, but this relieves me beacuse they are absolutely my heroes, they are the ones who can save sick people from this horrible virus. We can do it, rather we will for sure, we have only to be patient and respect these new rules in order to transform this horrible period in a moment to forget.

This period is particular for all of us, it is difficult not to be able to see one's companions for so long. The thing we can do is think and go on, it is not as simple as what because I, like everyone else, would like to stay in another place: at school, going out with my friends ...
I also miss the lessons in class with the teachers who explain what you have or have not understood, I miss to compare myself with my friends after a class assignment or even make controversies about a bad grade.
At first it seemed easy to spend a lot of time at home, without having to wake up early every morning, but now that I think about it I miss doing it. It is a difficult time for everyone, but the longer we stay at home, the sooner we can see each other together, we could go on vacation or even go to eat a pizza and go back to our old habits which, as they may seem annoying, are beautiful. Being at home all day helps you think, you are alone there and you think: “Why right now? Just when it all seemed to go the right way? " Just being here alone without a friend made me think that all the things I complained about before are the things I miss the most, like sitting between those benches and uncomfortable wooden chairs, but maybe those chairs and those benches are synonym of home, of happiness. It is not easy to face such a hard period, but if each of us does his part, maybe we can do it.

This means that we cannot meet friends and relatives , we can't go for a walk and we can't go to school. The days get boring as there isn't much to do. I usually do when I have free times so after online lessons and after studing I watch T.V. series and sometimes I cook sweets. Other times I drow , I listen to music and make video calls with my friends. I miss all my friends and I hope this situation will disappear soon. We can improve the situation by staying home and not going out.

We’re forced to stay at home so as not to expand this pandemic even further. Many people are dying and even when things seem to be improving, they get worse immediately afterwards; but we must be positive and hold on. I’m going through this quarantine a bit like everyone else: I sleep, study, do binge-watching, and eat, but I also train to keep fit. I’m looking forward to seeing my grandparents, my friends and returning to my everyday life.

this is a really boring period, the quarantine began in March and the end is not known yet, although over time there are ways to overcome boredom. During this quarantine, the thing that perhaps did the most is watching movies and TV series, even playing with the family, creating and having fun with even the most banal things. We can take this whole situation with a positive side too, that is spending more time with the family, not neglecting things... even if the worst part is that people out there continue to suffer, but above all the doctors who with their work help those who need it while putting their lives at risk, and I am fully grateful to them. I'm not here to always say the usual things since being in quarantine the things to do with time fade away, but I wish the world that all this will end soon.

On March 5, 2020, Italy was declared as a red zone; an area subject to risks, in this case to the infection of the coronavirus or Covid-19, a disease that has flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough and breathing difficulties. To avoid the spread of Covid-19, quarantine has been implemented across the country. Quarantine is a forced isolation. I have been in quarantine for 41 days now and I must say that I expected much worse. The first week at home I was going crazy, I could not bear the idea of staying at home for more than a month, but now I've got used to it. I spend my time on Netflix watching tv series and movies. Another thing I do is video call my friends and talk a little with them, or talk to my cousin outside the balcony since he lives next to me. I can't see him because my uncle is still going to work. It is a difficult situation but with a bit of organization we can face it.

Quarantine took away my freedom, physical and mental; has reduced my creativity, but it also has positive aspects. Quarantine gives you the opportunity to rediscover passions, people, moments that you had forgotten. Certainly this period took a lot from everyone, from things to human relationships; it ruined friendships and loves, but made others blossom and allowed everyone to redeem lost parts of us. Everyday life is frenetic, it is an unattainable time, where every time you stop for a moment, you lose opportunities that will not return. Here, at home, however, time is still; you have the comfort and the possibility to live, with limits, but to make everything better. We got used to a monotony that we try in every way to avoid, trying to find something different every day to do. And who knows what it will be like to return to the vortex of everyday life, where life has no time, once this quarantine is over...

Once upon a time there was an almighty god. the god, in seven days created his best masterpiece: the Earth. The Earth was a place full of beauties and life, there were a lot of different kinds of animals and plants, that lived in peace among them, but among the animals standed out a kind of animal that the god I’ve told you about before preferred to others, in fact the god gave them speech skills, imagination and a fervid brain. This race, that He called “human race” didn’t take too long to acknowledge his own superiority on the other races and in a short time the humans dominated and submitted to them all the other species. The humans realized that to obtain the total power all over the world they should have submit also the animals who were part of their same species, so happened the inevitable, the Earth was no longer respected by the stupid human race, but it was used like a battlefield and it was finally severely damaged by the same humans just to obtain the “power”, the total control on the other species. The god, who had been patient until that time and was still waiting that the rivalry stopped, became crazy as soon as He realized that his wondreful creature (the Earth), became polluted and partially destroyed by his sons. At that point He decided to create something to punish the foolishness of the humans, something that would have forced them to remain at their homes, so that they couldn’t have the chance to do more damages. But the god didn’t wish to exterminate his sons, in fact the thing he created was not so lethal for the ones who were following his rules, it was necessary just to make conscious the humans about their mistakes, the god just wished humans willing to return in peace with the other living species.

(Raffaele Capuozzo)

To counter the spread of the coronavirus in Italy, our government has approved restrictive measures that are difficult to accept, such as forced quarantine, to protect our health and that of others. We have been asked to implement a radical change in our daily lifestyle "staying at home". It is very difficult for me to not see my friends and my family, apart from the tools offered by technology. I spend my days reading books, listening to music, doing homework, and playing video games with my friends. Unfortunately, because of these restrictions, the sport has stopped, many competitions and championships have been cancelled.I also practice basketball in Pro Cangiani under 14, I'm sad because I can't do training, and this year I won't play other games because the championship has been cancelled. Our coach, , has assigned us some exercises to do at home to keep fit, but it is not the same at home, in fact we connect virtually, like we do in the morning with our school. I hope that this bad period will pass quickly with the hope that we can return to normal as soon as possible.
Daniele D'Ercole

Boom! Boom!....... I was worried. I turned on the light and I looked around, all was normal and the noise disappeared. I thought “ Will be a dream”. I went back to sleep. But then again Boom! Booooom! This time I stayed in the bed. I have heard the voice of my parents. I opened my eyes. They spoke in a low voice so I didn’t understand. After I heard the sound of my father's slippers slamming on the floor. He has listen the noise and therefore he got up. I lit the lamp for the millionth time and my father came in my bedroom. My sister, beside me, slept like a dormouse. I wasn't worried I was just angry because I couldn't sleep. Curiously, I got up to see with my dad what was causing that annoying noise. We went in the living room. The noisy was getting stronger. It was coming from the bay-window. It was the washing machine! It had broken so while washing the clothes it moved 1 meter from the wall. Dad turned off the washing machine and we went back to sleep. In the bed I thought “in this period of voluntary segregation we only needed the broken washing machine”

By Fabrizia Bosso

In this particular period of our lives, we have to stay at home to protect our health and to save other lives. in this moment we need to be united to fight the coronavirus.
We are probably scared and we sometimes feel like caged animals, but in the future we'll be heroes and we'll go back to go out with our friends and we'll go to the school.
When I'm bored I usually cook with my sister or my mum, because it makes me very happy.
Last week I decided to cook a chocolate cake for my sister's birthday.
I don't cook very well, but I promised at myself that I'm going to work hard. So I asked my mother to help me. At first, it seemed I wasn't very bad to cook. I was preparing the custard and I burned it, so I started preparing other custard. I hoped that the cake was good. After that, I had to make the chocolate base of the cake. There were many problems with it. It was necessary that I added the right amount of each ingredient, but I added so much sugar and the cake was too sweet. Then I cooked the base of the cake in the oven, while the custard was getting cold.
I finally put the custard on the chocolate base, and I added Nutella and cream to garnish. I was very satisfied because the cake was pretty good.

Claudia Conte

In this historical moment it often happens to be bored or sad because you cannot meet your friends to spend time with them or go out with your relatives.
On a boring day of quarantine I decided to spend time differently and to make pancakes. I looked for the ingredients on the Internet and I told Dad to buy them.
After a long line in the supermarket he returned with flour, eggs, butter and many others ingredients.
I started by taking a bowl and I added it all the ingredients.
By the butter I covered the surface of the pan and I added it the yellow pancakes dough. When I turned the pancake I notice that it was black…I made a disaster!!

Margherita Agostini

Once upon a time there was a man. He lived in a small town on the top of a mountain. He had a great job, an amazing family and a beautifull house. Everybody thought that his life was perfect, but not him. In fact the man wanted more than everything live in a big city. Even than he didn’t know why, he thought that if he would live in a enormous city, he will be happier. One day the man decided to get away from his native town, but his family wasn’t agree so he left them, his house and his work. First the man was happy, but after some months he began missing his family and his previous life. At the end he realized that men always wish things that they don’t have, without valueing the things they already have. Like that man many of us during the quarantine just want go out, meet friends and play sports without appraiseing things like relax and staying with our family that unfortunately some people haven’t got.

THE CORONAVIRUS TALES

This is tough period for everyone. If you're thinking not for me I belive you're lying. As I said before it's a difficult time and our habits and routine have probably changed because we can't do many things we could do before; for example I love sport a lot but now I can't practise it so I have much more spare time than I had before. This free time is great to practise your passions but also if it's great it can't be compared to spending time with your friends.
So I hope this bad time will end as soon as possible.
Nicolò Vitto Massei

Quarantine

Before quarantine we were allowed to do whatever we wanted. We could go out and watch a movie in te cinema or maybe go to the theatre and then eat something in a restaurant or in a pub. We could meet our friends, hug them and spend the day togheter at home watching a TV serie on Netflix. All of this was normal for us and for that we understimated the importance of those things, the importance of a hug or a kiss to those we love and now that we can't see our friends and we are forced to stay home, I feel so alone and the silence has never been so heavy. Every day is like the day before and the few things that we can do are always the same. I've never been so bored and I just wish I could go out with my friends and go back to my life before coronavirus. I have a lot of time to think about this situation and there's a question that I always ask myself "When will all this end?". I don't know when all this will end, I just know that everything seems so dark now and the light is too far.

Sara Normanno

In this absurd time, when we have been forced to stay in the house, I am realizing that the things we underestimate the most are the most important. it’s been a month since we changed our habits... we no longer see our family, our friends, we do not go out to get some air and I think the weirdest thing is not going to school anymore. I have to admit I’m a little confused and stressed out by this routine, but I’ll get used to it even though I’m sure we’ll get out of this situation soon. I’ve rediscovered things to do at home that I didn’t think was possible, like doing sports, I’m cooking a lot from desserts to tacos and it’s also the first time I’m colored on my face in April. The first thing I’m gonna do when we get out is I’m gonna go see my grandma and then I’m gonna go get a pizza with all my friends. Being used to seeing all those people every day and then suddenly being in this situation is not nice but I am more than certain that I will return to embrace all the people I love as soon as possible

Maria Vittoria Fresa
