Gamboa’s rule is a new procedure created to develop the whole division of polynomials, which is simpler than the general algorithm for the division of polynomials and the method of undetermined coefficients. With this rule there is a gain in generality with respect to Ruffini’s rule, because it can be used to divide a polynomial by any polynomial of smaller or equal degree.
