According to the hadith above, we as the people of the prophet must follow the sunnah of the prophet and make the prophet our idol.

In addition, Prophet Muhammad SAW is also a person who brings mercy to the whole world including his ummah. Allah SWT has given a great advantage to the Ummah of the Prophet. Even though his life is short compared to the ummah of previous prophets, the ummah of Prophet Muhammad can perform acts of worship that have many rewards with just one act of worship. This is a sign of God's kindness to his ummah.

Prophet Muhammad's love is also very deep for his people. The proof is that Prophet Muhammad SAW was very worried about the state of his people in the Hereafter. So with that, the Prophet has asked Allah SWT to intercede for his people. This intercession is very important for anyone whose good and bad deeds are balanced because with the intercession of this prophet, he can help that group.

As a muslim, we have to trust that knowledge is one of the gift that Allah Azza Wajalla gives to all of his servant. In other word, we should thanks to Allah by saying Tahmid (Alhamdulillah), everytime we learn something new.

Why should we have a knowledge? As a muslim, its a must for us to gain knowledge time by time or we can say it as "WAJIB" in quranic language.

But, the knowledge I mean is a good one, not a bad thing to learn, for example, we don't need to learn how to lie effectively, or learn some skill to assassinate innocent people anonymously and many more. It's strictly forbidden for us to learn that kind of thing.

Instead, we are supposed to learn something like survival skills, academic, martial arts, or even cooking for boys. There are a lot of them. Choose the good one.

How to learn something in Islamic way? I mean.. Yeah, many of people just learnt something and keep forgetting about them. First thing first, you need some manners, bro.

I remember some words from my Naqib, and it is ;

{ Ilmu tanpa adab ibarat sungai yang beracun }

it means ; a knowledge without manners is just like a poisonous river. Which means something that are georgeous, beauty, but USELESS.

Here are some basic Manners you need to do in order to get permanent knowledge.

Fix your intention. Why'd you want to learn this? On what purpose? For what?

Respect your lecturer. Lend them your ear, mouth and eyes. For nose, you can keep it. Don't ever trash-talk to them. Treat them how your treat your parents.

Be humble. Even if you're the top student, remember that it's all on willing of Allah. He can take it back whenever he want. Just keep learning or share them to others.

Istiqamah ; ) Wer'e human right? (An-Naas) means forgetful. So, just kindly do revisioning, it's fun when we keep on track with our previous learning and it helps a lot.

1. Tauhid Rububiyah

Tauhid Rububiyah means believing that only God is the creator, maintainer, regulator, and ruler of the universe. God has full power over everything in this world. There is no authority but Allah.

2. Tauhid Uluhiyah

Tauhid Uluhiyah means focusing on God in worship. Only God has the right to be worshiped and all forms of worship such as prayer, sacrifice, prayer, and fasting should be directed only to Him. This emphasizes that we cannot associate God with anything or anyone in matters of worship.

3. Tauhid Asma' wa Sifat

Tauhid Asma' wa Sifat means believing that only Allah has perfect names and attributes. In this regard, we must understand the names and attributes of Allah as explained in the Qur'an and Sunnah without distorting, equating, or rejecting these attributes.

These three types of monotheism are interrelated and form the basis of a Muslim's faith in relating to God.

Messenger of Allah: Prophets receive divine revelations, which they communicate to their communities, guiding them toward righteousness and truth.

Role Models: They exemplify moral and ethical behavior, serving as role models for their followers.

Different Types: Some prophets are also messengers (Rasul), who bring new laws or scriptures, while others reinforce existing teachings.

Finality of Prophethood: Muslims believe that Muhammad is the last prophet (the Seal of the Prophets), completing the line of prophethood that includes figures like Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus.

Belief in All Prophets: It is essential for Muslims to believe in all the prophets sent by Allah, acknowledging their importance in conveying His message.

The difference between Nabi and Rasul

Definition:

Nabi: A prophet who is chosen by Allah to guide people and convey His teachings. They may not necessarily bring a new scripture or set of laws.

Rasul: A messenger who is also a prophet but is specifically tasked with delivering a new message, scripture, or set of laws to a community.

Revelation:

Nabi: Receives divine guidance and teachings but may follow the existing laws given to previous messengers.

Rasul: Receives a new revelation or law that may change or replace previous teachings.

Scope of Mission:

Nabi: Often sent to reinforce the teachings of prior messengers within a community.

Rasul: Typically sent to a specific community or nation to introduce a new message or to correct deviations from previous teachings.

Examples:

Nabi: Figures like Harun and Idris are considered prophets who did not bring new scriptures.

Rasul: Examples include Muhammad (who brought the Quran), Moses (who brought the Taurah), and Jesus (who brought the Injil).

In summary, all Rasul(s) are Nabi(s), but not all Nabi(s) are Rasul(s). The distinction lies primarily in the nature and scope of their mission from Allah.

What is (yaumul qiyamah)?

Yawm al-Qiyamah (يوم القيامة) translates to "the Day of Resurrection" or "the Day of Judgment" in English. It is a fundamental concept in Islamic eschatology, referring to the day when all individuals will be resurrected and held accountable for their deeds. Here are key aspects of Yawm al-Qiyamah:

Resurrection: All human beings will be brought back to life from their graves, facing the consequences of their actions in this world.

Accountability: Each person will be judged by Allah based on their beliefs and actions. Good deeds may lead to reward, while wrongdoings may lead to punishment.

Divine Justice: This day emphasizes Allah's justice, ensuring that everyone receives what they deserve. There will be no injustice on this day.

Heaven and Hell: Based on the judgment, individuals will either be rewarded with eternal paradise (Jannah) or face punishment in hell (Jahannam).

Signs of the Day: Islamic teachings outline various signs and events that will precede Yawm al-Qiyamah, including the appearance of certain figures and cosmic upheavals.

Belief in Qada' (divine decree) and Qadr (predestination)

Qada’ (Divine Decree)

Definition: Refers to Allah’s eternal knowledge and decision regarding everything that happens in the universe.

Nature: It encompasses all events and circumstances, both good and bad, that occur according to Allah's wisdom and plan.

Acceptance: Muslims believe that everything that happens is part of Allah’s divine will, and accepting this is crucial to trusting in His plan.

Qadr (Predestination)

Definition: Refers to the belief that Allah has preordained everything in creation, including human actions and the outcomes of events.

Human Free Will: While Allah knows everything and has decreed events, humans still have free will to make choices. This balance between divine decree and human agency is a key aspect of Islamic theology.

Faith in Allah’s Wisdom: Believing in Qadr encourages Muslims to have faith in Allah’s wisdom and mercy, even in difficult circumstances.

Importance in Islam

Trust in Allah: Belief in Qada’ and Qadr fosters a sense of trust in Allah’s plan, helping Muslims remain patient and resilient during hardships.

Accountability: It reinforces the idea that while Allah has knowledge of everything, individuals are still responsible for their choices and actions.

Contentment: Understanding that everything happens for a reason helps Muslims find peace and contentment in life's ups and downs

Ihsan is mentioned in the Quran 211 times.

Muslim - Mukmin - Muhsin

Characteristics of Ihsan:

‌- Giving goodness to others to the best of one’s ability.

‌- Doing good deeds for the sake of Allah.

Three Prophets referred to as "Al-Muhsinin" in the Quran

- Feared God even when alone.

- Practiced steadfastness (istiqamah).

- Sincerity and excellence (ikhlas and itqan).

People nowdays

- Being more afraid of people than God.

- Do not think of yourself as better than others; this is like (Shaytan).

Eschatology (belief in the Day of Judgment):

- Are we doing things because we fear God, or because we fear people?

Ihsan is the completion of one's faith and submission (Iman and Islam).

- In Islamic knowledge, it involves Tasawwuf (spirituality), Tauhid (oneness of God), and Fiqh (jurisprudence).

To sum up:

In this world, we live through Islam, then *Iman, then **Ihsan* – after that comes death and the Day of Judgment. We will be held accountable. Life is about making choices, whether to stay the same or change for the better. Make the right choice to avoid regret.

While interpretation of the scope and particulars of Adab may vary among different cultures, common among these interpretations is regard for personal standing through the observation of certain codes of behavior. To exhibit Adab would be to show "proper discrimination of correct order, behavior, and taste."

Islam has rules of etiquette and an ethical code involving every aspect of life. Muslims refer to Adab as good manners, courtesy, respect, and appropriateness, covering acts such as entering or exiting a washroom, posture when sitting, and cleansing oneself.

There is plenty types of adab. Adb with parents, friends, teachers and so on. Adab which is emphasized here is Adab with parents.

As stated in the Quran in surah Maryam verses 42: When he said to his father: "O my father, why do you worship something that does not hear and does not see and cannot help you at all?" Prophet Ibrahim's preaching of monotheism began by questioning his father's faith. Remember when he gently and politely said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship things that do not hear, like those idols and statues, which also cannot see anything around them, nor can they help you from any harm or benefit you even a little to you?” This verses shows that Prophet Ibrahim wanted to persuade his father to join Islam and stop worship orher beings other than Allah, The One and Only God. Even though his father scolded him and banished him from his house because being rebellion to him, Ibrahim still smile while talking softly to his father.

The lessons that can be taken from this verse is we need to obey to our parents and do all of our parent's wishes as long it didn't contradicts sharia'.

Jibril's hadith is one of the most important hadiths in Islamic teachings.Narrated by Umar bin al-Khattab, this hadith narrates the arrival of the angel Gabriel who resembles a man to the Prophet Muhammad SAW to ask him about some matters related to Islam. In this dialogue, Jibril asked about faith, Islam, courtesy, and the signs of the Day of Resurrection.

Conclusion from Jibril's Hadith:

1. Faith: Jibril asked the Prophet about faith, and the Prophet replied that faith consists of six pillars, namely:

Believe in God

Trust in His angels

Believe in His books

Believe in His messengers

Believe in doomsday

Believe in fate, good and bad from Allah SWT

Faith includes belief in the heart about unseen things that are the basis of a Muslim's belief.

2. Islam: Islam was explained by the Prophet as an outward act or practice consisting of five pillars, namely:

Saying two sentences of shahadah (testimony that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger)

Set up prayer

Paying zakat

Fasting in the month of Ramadan

Perform Hajj for those who can afford it

This is a deed that confirms a person as a Muslim in the eyes of society and in front of God.

3. Ihsan: Ihsan is the highest level in religion that describes a deep spiritual attitude. The Prophet stated that ihsan is "You worship God as if you see Him, and if you do not see Him, then indeed He sees you." Ihsan shows a very close and conscious relationship between humans and God, where charity is done sincerely and with a sense of responsibility.

4. Signs of the Day of Judgment: Gabriel also asked about the signs of the Day of Judgment, and the Prophet gave some small and large signs that indicate the nearness of the Day of Judgment, such as:

The slave gave birth to his master

Poor and homeless people raced to build tall buildings.

General conclusion: This hadith explains three important aspects of Islam:

Faith as the basis of confidence.

Islam as a real action or practice.

Ihsan as a deep spiritual appreciation.

These three aspects cover the entire dimension of a Muslim—faith in the heart, charity in action, and courtesy in the relationship with God.
