How does it work?

We’ve prepared a presentation to guide you, the teacher, in delivering this experience in the classroom. Alongside it, you’ll find printable worksheets for your pupils to use. The challenge for your learners is to build two homes using natural resources found on the island, as well as artifacts from a shipwreck discovered on the beach.

Working in groups, students will need to think about essential needs and how to survive and thrive on the island. They’ll use creativity and problem-solving skills to turn random objects into a livable space. Additionally, they’ll create a flag and develop the island’s identity, culminating in a pitch of their ideas to the class.
