It is surrounded by five countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Yemen and Ethiopia. The reef platforms are over 5,000 years old and is 1,240 miles long. There are many different species that live there like Carnation Coral, the Hawksbill Sea Turtle, and the Red Algae.
