In the book “Rwanda Genocide” it claims "Rwandan President's plane is shot down he is killed as well as the President of Burundi." The president of Rwanda's plane was shot down which the Hutu took as a excuse to start a genocide against the Tutsi because they thought it was a act from the Tutsi. This supports the claim of starting the genocide. In “Rwanda genocide” it also claims "Hutu government takes the opportunity to launch a genocide against the Tutsi.” The Hutu uses this as a opportunity to start the genocide which they wanted to anyways. They used this as a trigger to start the genocide towards the Tutsi. In the article “Rwanda genocide” it claimed "The conflicts were growing when they started killing many Tutsi and the Hutu who were sympathetic to the Tutsi." They started this genocide which they were killing the Tutsi and some of the Hutu who were sympathetic or the Hutu who felt sorry for the Tutsi and thought it was wrong. These evidence and explanations all lead to the claim of why the genocide started and the conflicts during and before between the Hutu and Tutsi

In the article “Rwanda genocide” "The Tutsi were excluded from secondary schools and universities.” The Hutu kicked the Tutsi out of their schools which is one of their rights. In the article “Rwanda genocide” "Many Tutsi retreated into neighboring countries where they trained their soldiers." Many Tutsi left the country most likely for more protection from the Hutu who would more than likely not invade a country to kill just a small percentage of people and so they could also hide from the Hutu who were trying to kill them. In the article “Rwanda genocide” “The Hutu leaders and extremest, however, opposed Tutsi involvement in government.” The Hutu were trying to limit and take away as much as they could so they opposed the Tutsi involvement in the Rwandan government.
