Some children have had more extreme experiences than adults and therefore have more knowledge on certain topics. Some elderly people are incapable of caring for themselves, while others are very active members of society. I do not think the world should be so focused on age when it comes to who is more sensible, today. The more years one has lived, however, the more years of possibilities have existed for those individuals. I based my answers on the elderly people I know or have known in my personal life.
