There are 18 kids. 11 girls and 7 boys.
Most of them are very outgoing. There are two boys who find it hard to be attentive in class and constantly move around the class.There are also two very shy girls but they like English and enjoy participating in the language activities. I give them English classes all Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 am. Although they reacted very well to the class, I think I need to improve the transition between one activity and the next one as well as interact better with the students who finish first so that they do not disturb the others who are still working.

One aspect that I really like about the 4th grade group is that they love to sing and are very enthusiastic when working with manual materials. One of the lessons the students enjoyed the most was this one of the caterpillar cycle, not only because of the video they enjoyed a lot, but also when we made the butterfly on paper and then they coloured it.( See photos). When I previously explained to them in a previous class the caterpillar cycle and when later in this class they saw the animated story, they were very focused and attentive and then they were able to answer some questions about the food the caterpillar was eating along the story. It was very rewarding as they assimilated new vocabulary when they saw it represented in a compelling story.

The students understood quite a lot when listening to the children expressing their favourite animals. Also in general they were able to express their likes although with some pronunciation errors.
