8.33% of all homeless people are veterans.

47.6% of all homeless people are disable and unable to work.

I learned how much more difficult daily life is for them and how much more homeless people there are in Kansas City alone. It was surprising because I didn't expect there to be so many homeless people in Kansas City. I also realized how much harder it would be to get my message across in just one poster. It needed to pop out and catch people's attention and be short enough that people would remember it which was harder than I thought it would be.
