My professional background is in PR, marketing and professional writing. I began my career in book publishing, but then left and had my own freelance PR and writing business. I have written/co-written several books over the years.

I have taught a range of communication and writing courses full time at DU, La Salle University and Chestnut Hill College. I am now the Communications Coordinator and Instructor for LaSalle College High School and teach part time for Arcadia, Drexel and LaSalle.

Digital Content Creation & Marketing with an emphasis on blogging is one of my favorite courses to teach. I also teach Social Media and I used to have a side gig as consultant to influencers.

Before I transferred to Arcadia this year, I was a Linguistics major also studying medical humanities and ethics. My writing professor was like "why are you doing linguistics," I didn't have a good answer, a bunch of other things happened and now I'm a media and communication major here

Digital Experience

I have had social media accounts since (quite literally) the day I turned 13. That was back in 2013, and I have not put down Instagram since.

I don’t have any professional experience in blogging or social media, but I have had a fan account since 2013 that is currently sitting at almost 32,000 followers. It is admittedly a bit cringe to be almost 26 with a fan account, but 1) I have put a lot of effort into it for so long now and 2) it does look a lot more professional now than it did back in the 2014-filter craze. I notice since making it more professional (and a pandemic) the account has gotten a lot more traction.
