I think loyalty is more important than popularity because when you have a group of friends or strangers (Strangers will become friends),
These people can give you life long assistance and teach things to you that you may have never known of. Whereas popularity just gives you a bunch of people. I believe that there is a chance that the two groups will be able to co-exist peacefully. With all that is happening in the story i belie that at some point that both sides will get tired and call it a day. With all the group members dropping like flies, i think that the both
2. With the death of more people in the story from both sides, it's more likely that both groups will split up or break up and will all go to jail for their crimes.
3. With Johnny Cade in serious condition, i believe that the greasers will collapse in dramatic fashion while the Socs will roam the area all by themselves with no competition.

They took a different approach. Instead of being wild, they decide to look fresh and all had a good shower, they also shaved, and talked about when they started shaving. They played poker after. Ponyboy and Darry take a bunch of aspirins to help them sleep, and because Ponyboy's head hurts. But this time, they use the aspirins for the rumble. Darry was hesitant, but lets Ponyboy fight for Johnny. Everybody understands that if the police come that some of them could be put in custody. The other gangs are there and they look like their 15-19 years old. A Soc confirms that there are no weapons, just fists. All of a sudden the Socs are running to their cars and driving away, The Greasers Won! they were beat up so much but they were still victorious.

In the rumble for example, the greasers were barley hanging on, but managed to pull out a victory somehow. This shows the commitment, courage and determination that you have to have in order to be in a gang. You can smell the fresh air in the nature and understand the values of nature like gold.
You can hear the nature's sounds of amazement and the animals that hide inside it.
You can see the green hue of the nature as it changes color in the winter.
You can taste the crops that come from the nature and the fields
You can feel the hardening of hold and the soft but comfortable touch of the leaves

That we should protect our wildlife and protect our plant-life before they die away into thin air. Because all great things come to an end

This is comparable to Johnny Cade, a boy who was called a lost puppy who was beaten up too many  times, like nature he was fading away, because no one really took care of him, and sooner than later, he died.
