They can be used as a tool to help people find themselves and what makes them tick. However it shouldn't be what defines a person. Not everything will be accurate for a personality type and you shouldn't change to be that accurate. It is not a good idea to trap yourself in a personality type as people change and so will your personality type. I think the Supervisor describes me because I usually enjoy being a leader in group projects and in initiating conversations.
