Today in class we learned how to spot fake news and we were given some tools that can be used to verify sources. I also looked at a media biased map and saw where some major news sources are on the map. I was surprised to see where some of the sources I sometimes read from were on the map. It is strange how some people's opinions in news articles can change how people think so drastically and the effect they have on everyone like with the incident that happened with Orson Welles’s War of the Worlds. We need to be careful throughout our lives to fact check and always make sure to use good sources in your research.

Most websites are biased and contain false information. I always learned new ways to spot fake news by using the way back machine and easy who is. The way back machine helps me know what the website was like in different years and how the author(s) of the page updated it. Easy who is, is a tool that helps me find who published a website. This will benefit me in all subjects.
