This will be my 9th year teaching at Donna North High School. I will be teaching Cosmetology I to incoming 11th grade students and Cosmetology II to 12th grade students.
My goal is for all the students to do their best in their studies and to take advantage of all the opportunities that is offered to them. When students apply themselves in their studies and succeed in getting license, they are considered experts in applying cosmetic procedures, therapies, and treatments to beautify one's outer appearance., and implementing cosmetic treatments to people's hair, skin, and nails.

Cosmetology is a career area that can offer flexibility and unlimited educational and financial potential. It is a two-year program open to all young men and women in 11th and 12th grade. The Cosmetology program meets all the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulations requirements for licensure upon passing the State Board Written & Practical Exams.

Students begin by learning about product knowledge, effective communication, sanitation, hair, skin and nail care. Students in Cosmetology I work on a variety of skills including chemical reformation, artistry of hair, and manicures. Cosmetology II provides students with the opportunity to practice advanced hair design and cutting hair, hair coloring techniques and salon development.

Students gain real-world experience on mannequins, live models in a cosmetology lab using equipment equal to that found in a salon.

These courses provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate the foundational physics principles and apply the science practices of our world. I’m am looking forward to teaching this year as we adjust to the new norms and motivating your child to acquire college credit through the University of Texas at Austin or by taking the AP Physics Exam and excelling in mastering physics for future use.

I’m from Caguas, Puerto Rico and this will be my 3^rd year at Donna North High School and in the Valley. This year I will be teaching Chemistry. I’m excited to get to know parents and students. A little bit about myself; i have been in the culinary field for 10 years now beginning my culinary education in 2011 & completing my degrees in 2017 & 2018. Through South Texas College I received a associates degree in Commercial Cooking as well as a associates degree in Commercial Baking. (NOW ITS YOUR TURN!)
