Me, Yves and Elizabeth planned what animals we are going to do. We decided to do Bunnies/Rabbits because they are adorable animals and we want the kids to know about them more. After we decided the animals, we tried to figure out part of the lyrics.

Today we tried to make the lyrics rhyme to make the song better. We tried to work on the vocals to sing louder so the sound of the piano doesn't go on top of the vocals because we want the audience to clearly listen to our lyrics.

Improvements:
We have to improve on singing our song louder and also we need to try to memorize the song without looking at the lyrics

What have I improved on:
I improved on making my piano part more catchy and more happy so the children can be more happy and enjoy the music

Plus:
What we did well today was remembering the lyrics. We did a good job remembering the whole song without looking at the lyrics and it is a big improvement from last class
Minus:
Last class one of our members (Yves) wasn't here but today he was here, so it was a little hard to join up and match our singing and that is what we need to improve on
Interesting:
What I found interesting today was that all the groups we listened to needed to look at their lyrics because they haven't memorized it yet but we are probably the only group that memorize all of our lyrics so I found it interesting.

Feedback:

Good actions & music

Sing louder

Words fit with song

Stopped flow of song because there is to many words

Bigger actions

Well planned

Actions need to be in sync

Good movements

Sing louder

More enthusiastic (yves)

Memorise dance

Good piano

- Is your song appropriate to the target audience?

- Is the melody appropriate and match the words of the song

- Does the harmony (chords) match the melody?

- Was your song performed together accurately and confidently?

- Do your actions help the message of your song? Are they performed in sync with the music and words?

My song is appropriate to KG because it has nice and simple words so the kids can remember and sing a long.

The melody was a appropriate and it matched the words of the song because the melody was happy and all kids songs has to be happy.

My actions help the message of my songs by using symbols of what the lyrics are. For example, if there was bunny in my lyrics, I would make like a ear on top of my head to represent the bunnies! The actions was sometimes performed in sync with the music and words but sometimes it was slower than the lyrics because there are some parts where we weren't that confident

My song was performed with some confidence. Elizabeth was a little more confident than Yves because Yves kind of forget some of the lyrics and he has to be lesser nervous to have a more successful performance

Grading Ngoc, Tina's and Junes Group:
They have good lyrics for the kids to dance through and sing a long. They have easy lyrics so the kids can sing. They had nice actions to entertain the kids. Ngoc did a good job but Tina needs to sing a little louder with better actions. June had a nice, happy and steady beat
