Their home language might be a difficult language but showing that as an educator you care enough about them to learn is important for the classroom.

Most important for there to be a healthy multicultural classroom there needs to be respect and empathy. Showing each student respect and being empathetic to their opinions and conflicts. The classroom will then grow to celebrate curiosity and understanding while looking down on judgement.

Allowing them to be guest speakers or to speak on certain occasions to provide insight could benefit the classroom. It can also give their children confidence because their family is speaking about their culture. Language, culture, teaching, and learning are all concepts that are linked in educational setting encouraging educators to reflect on themselves and classroom practices to better meet the needs of students educationally and socially (Nieto, 2018).

Working with community efforts or resources to better learn what they do and what they stand for.
