Activist: Founder of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving)

Chiune Sugihara saved the lives of over 6,000 Jews in Lithuania.
 In 1940, Sugihara became aware of the dangers facing the Jewish population of Lithuania and, going against regulations set out by the Japanese government, he began to issue transit visas to Jewish refugees so that they could escape Europe and travel to Japan. Betty Williams was a housewife and secretary. In 1976 she witnessed the shooting where three innocent children were shot and killed. Right away she launched an appeal to stop unnecessary and meaningless violence. She was soon joined by the children's aunt, Mairead Corrigan, and they founded the peace organization the Community of Peace People.
She is an Unsung Hero because she saw something that was wrong in her community and made a difference, whether it was big or small. He was a mathematician and philosopher and although wasn't celebrated in his time, he's now taught and discussed in universities all around the nation, mostly about his most famous work "The Incompleteness Theorem" of which brings light to the idea that like many things in the world, there is a paradoxical area in math that lies between being truthful and being proven. british suffragist, she was a militant champion of woman suffrage whose 40-year campaign achieved complete success in the year of her death, when British women obtained full equality in the voting franchise. Her daughter Christabel Harriette Pankhurst was also prominent in the woman suffrage movement. She spent most of her life fighting for what she believed in. Even though they didn't notice her until she was gone, she never gave up and I think thats important to understand.
