Young children explore patterns and shapes, compare sizes, and count things.

At different ages they develop some abilities along with the building blocks, for example in the earliest age they develop the understandment of "on" "next to" by placing the building blocks, later at age of 2 they recognize that the blocks don't fall when they put it in a tower. At 4 years, they can use multiple spatial relations, extending their buildings in multiple directions and with multiple points of contact among the blocks, showing flexibility in how they build and integrate parts of the structure.

As well this can be used as a printed resource, because children will be used to use these objects and they will have a greater ability of understandment. As you can see in the pictures I attached there are several worksheets that use the building blocks as an activity without the actual blocks.

There are several activities, assessment and analytics develop skills and they can use interactive tools and even create their creative raps.

I think this is one of the best tools, because songs create a positive atmosphere and allows everyone to participate, songs allow for quick review and they are "sticky", they can easily remember what the song said and stay in their heads longer.

This is a very interesting programme used to teach Math in preschool and primary. For preschool, teachers also use concrete materials and games and the book as a complement of all the strategies they use to teach the basic steps of the mathematical thinking and comprehension. Its methodology is suitable for kids and it´s easy to explain and work with them, according to some teachers that have been working with this programme.
