I can keep track of my first goal by taking note of my assessment scores throughout the 1st term.
For the second goal, I can identify if I have missed assignments or posts on the Math google classroom. Lastly, If I have notes and finished drills in my notebook, then I would have completed the third goal.

First, I plan to listen and participate in answering questions during class. By doing so, I can get a clearer grasp on the lesson and I will be able to answer my assigned tasks and drills. Second, I plan to consistently check my google classroom for missing tasks. Lastly, I will make sure to do the drills that Sir Policarpio gives us during class time.

R - elevant. Why are these goals important?

All these goals are important to me because they are necessary goals in order to do my best academically. Completing all my tasks and getting an A in math this term can help me graduate grade 10 and move up into senior highschool. Taking down notes and doing drills are steps to making sure this happens.

Personally I found the topic of Linear and Quadratic Models the most difficult to grasp. During discussions I felt that I could follow the flow of some of the problems but if I were to solve them on my own, I would struggle immensely in finding the required answers. Looking at the given and required values in linear and quadratic model problems confused me a lot as well. I would often times mix up the y intercepts, zeroes, slope, IV and DV, of the functions due to my confusion. Although these 2 topics were very challenging for me, I think I managed to pull through. With the help of listening more in discussions and solo practice, I got a clearer grasp on what to do. The PDF reviewers given to us by Sir Policarpio also gave me opportunities to practice! Asking for help from others like my classmates also helped me handle this problem too.

Misconceptions I had was when factoring the equation to find it's zeroes. and the use of i. Back in Grade 9, we were taught a number of ways on how to factor a quadratic equation. Among all of these ways, we were introduced to the quadratic formula which can be used to solve any quadratic equation as long as you have your a, b, and c. In grade 10, I found myself depending on this equation for most problems that involved factoring. Because of this, there would always be a plus minus sign in my resulting answer. I would sometimes get confused with this, but due to the exercises given in class, I now know the meaning behind the plus minus sign and what to do to simplify the equation further. 2. In grade 10 Math the introduction of i or √1 was taught to us. Before I used to manually check the exponent of i one by one. Even though we were taught to divide it by 4 in class. I was confused with the division part and did not know what dividing by 4 would do. After asking help from a classmate I finally understood why.

You may be wondering, why LT#2 Diego? You didn't even get a perfect score! The reason I chose this is because I remember being very disappointed in myself for the score I got in LT#1. Even though I didn't fail I felt that I wasted free points in the multiple choice portion of the SA. That is why when LT#2 came around I focused hard and gave my all in answering it! Even though people say SA#2 was easier, I still feel proud of my score nonetheless. This is why I think LT#2 is my best work so far

In this term, we did not have any collaborative projects. Though this is true, I find that I have collaborated with some of my fellow classmates in improving math skills and conceptual understanding. Thanks to Jose Ignacio, I was able to understand quadratic models easier. He also told me what dividing i by 4 does when I did not get it.
