We use the zero conditional when we want to talk about facts or things that are generally true. (SCIENTIFIC FACTS, LAWS OF NATURE) 
this condition is not realated to 
time (the past, present or future) - it only applies to things which are ALWAYS true.

If/when + subject + Present Simple, subject + Present Simple
If you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils.

OR

subject + Present Simple + if/when + subject + Present Simple
Water boils if you heat it to 100 degrees.

Examples

1.When cats don't eat enough, they die.

2. If it rains, tennis lessons are held in the gym

3. When he buys sweets, he buys me some too.

4. When you go to the park, take your ball.

Third conditional:

if+ Past perfect+ would have+ past participle
It talks about the past. It's used to describe a situation that didn't happen, and to imagine the result of this situation.
EXAMPLES:

If she had studied, she would have passed the exam (but, really we know she didn't study and so she didn't pass).

If I hadn't eaten so much, I wouldn't have felt sick (but I did eat a lot, and so I did feel sick).

Second conditional

If + Past sipmple + would+ verb

The events we are talking about in the second conditional are probably not going to happen; we can express our dreams with it, e.g. "If I won the lottery, I would travel to Australia."

You can also use this conditional to talk about something in the present which is impossible, because it's not true: "If I had his number, I would call him. "

Or use it to give an advice: "If I were you, I would sell this old car."

Examples

If I was qualified enough, I would look for a new job.
If you weren’t talking so much, I wouldn’t have this headache.
If I met the Queen of England, I would say hello.

First conditional

Using the first conditional period, we are talking about an event in the future that has a real chance to occur. For example, you want to give books to a friend who is sick. She called and said that she felt better and should come to school tomorrow. So there is a possibility (but it is not 100% certain) that she will be at school tomorrow and you will be able to give her books.

If/when + subject + Present Simple, will + subject
(play) If the weather is fine on Saturday, we'll go for a long walk.

OR

subject + will + if/when + subject + Present Simple

(play) We'll do it for you if you promise not to tell anyone about that.
