Deforestation can cause
> Loss Of Habitats
80% of the world's land animals live in forests. When the trees are cleared form the forest, animal species are not able to find food and shelter, therefore causing them to have a decrease in their species as they cannot survive.

> Climate Change
Trees are not able to not block the moist forest soil, allowing it to dry up quickly and therefore causing the forest to transform from lush greenery to dry barren land. There will be a decrease in rainfall as well, as trees transpire and help help ensure the continuity of the water cycle. when there is a decrease in trees, there will also be a decrease in water vapour in the air and therefore causing less rainfall.

> Global Warming
Trees help to absorb greenhouse gases (Carbon Dioxide). When there is a decrease in trees, more greenhouse gases will be in the air and increases the speed and severity of Global Warming

Not all deforestation is intentional. -Deforestation causes damage to habitat,biodiversity loss and aridity(having little or no rain,too dry to support vegetation),extinction,climatic changes,displacement of population an desertification(fertile land becomes desert)
-Deforestation causes soil erosion which leads to landslides and the soil will be washed into the water bodies,polluting water
-No trees results in more greenhouse gases entering the atmosphere which increases the severity and rate of global warming. This is because trees play a part in absorbing these gases that fuel global warming

The solution is to reforest.But the number of trees growing each year is still a tiny fraction compared to the Earth's forested land
