- Enough for everyone, forever
- Allowing replenishment
- Sustainability is a UWC value
- Sustainability is key to survival of all species
- Taking care and being mindful of our future generations
- Allowing the maintenance of equilibrium
- Sustainability is cool :)
- Sustainability is green
- Mindful way of living on Earth
- Respecting every living organism
- No waste
- Using renewable resources
- Protecting the environment
-The goal of Sustainable Development

Q1. Sustainability refers to the use of resources at a rate at which replenishment of these by the environment is possible, whereas sustainable development is to meet the current needs without compromising the future generation to meet their needs and it has 3 main pillars: Society, Economy and Environment. All these three need to be taken care of for it to be considered sustainable development.

Q3. Sustainable development refers to the meeting of current needs without compromising the future generations of being able to meet their own needs, the three pillars of sustainability (which all have to be met) are Society, Economy and Environment. Since all of these need to be taken into consideration, EVS can help us to achieve this balance. Since different people have different focuses, for example ecocentric people will focus on the environment primarily, and will look to protect it from everything, an example of an ecocentric approach would be closing some industries that are polluting the air and water. But we also have techno centric and anthropocentric values, techno centric is more focused on the pillar of Economy, they would prevent the economical development of being stopped, for example developing new methods for agriculture or developing new products to reduce the impact on the environment without compromising the economical development and finally an anthropocentric point of view would look after the people, in this case this would cover the pillar of Society in sustainable development, an example of this is the development of new legislations, it considers the social needs

-Using resources in a way that they still being available for future generations
-Using resources equally
-It has to do with a lot of aspects (consuming, using, producing)
-Ex: buying enough but not extra, using enough energy but not to waste it, consuming products from sustainable sources.

Q1: Sustainable development seeks to satisy the human needs without compromising the ability of future generations to satisfy their needs, while sustainability is a way of using the resources that allows natural replacement and full recovery of the resources exploited.
The diference, then, is that while sustaibability focuses on the amount of resource used and recovered, sustainable development is about a general approach of the resource.
Q3: An EVS is a worldview that shapes the way societies and individuals perceive and relate with the environment, while sustainable development seeks to satisfy human needs without compromising the ability of future generations to satisfy their own needs.
So, different EVS are Anthropocentric, Technocentric and Ecocentric, which means that there are 3 differents way to approach tue use of resources.
From an anthropocentric approach, the measures to achieve sustainable development would have to do with regulations from government or official institutions in order to ensure a safe and sustainable development. This idea can be also supported from a Technocentric approac

1. Sustainability is use and management of the resources at a rate that allows natural regeneration and minimizes damage to the environment. On the other hand, sustainable development is fulfilling the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. The aim of sustainability is to maintain a balanced equilibrium while sustainable development suggests for improvement.

3. Sustainable development is fulfilling the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. One approach would be technocentric, meaning that technology is used as a solution and method for development. These can include using renewable resources (eg. wind turbines, solar panels) that can provide energy instead of non-renewable resources (eg. fossil fuels). This allows for future generations to have enough resources as energy will continue to be renewable and the non-renewable resources are not depleted. This can lead to economic growth.
