This book teaches Issac Newton's laws of motion in a very kid-friendly way. The story tells the adventure of a boy and his dog, Newton. They go through their day involved in motion and stability activities, like throwing a ball. I chose this book because it involves the everyday life of a typical kindergartener, making it relatable.

Public Broadcasting Service.

This book teaches students how animals like woodpeckers use the environment to meet their needs. I chose this book because it is said to be playful and colorful. Those two things are sure to grab the attention of young children. Educational books can be too informational and overwhelming for some children, in my opinion.
