Then split them up into a 3 ring circus. Some student could read on their own and write their own questions. Then give it to another student to answer. Another group would have a partner and these students work together to ask and write a question. Then the groups would exchange their questions and answer. The third group would be with the teacher. The teacher would model writing questions that the students generate.
