It's not only about being kind to one another, but also keeping yourself save in this digital world! I believe that each student can be taught from an early age on how to interact online the safe way and should be taught in each classroom! We have always taught children about stranger danger, but now strangers are everywhere online and we need to update our thinking and teaching in this new age of technology. Students need to be reminded of this multiple times a year. It's an important topic to me because as someone who is on social media I can see how the things you say can follow you around and how people bully each other without even thinking about it anymore. I believe we should be teaching children at young ages if you wouldn't say it in person, then you shouldn't be saying it online.
