Good job setting clear expectations.

I like that you incorporated visuals and music into your Do Now. I would have liked a little more guidance on what types of things to observe in the Do Now.

I liked that you shared something personal about the song with the class. That seems like it would contribute to mutual respect and rapport with students. (Domain 2)

Think about: what would it look like if you circled around to check on the students while they are logging onto kahoot? I liked that you used the kahoot as an opening assessment, though, to see where students are.

Consistent use of questioning, student involvement, and checking on existing student knowledge.

Varied materials. :) Clear modeling for students before student-led practice. :)

Think about: Maybe give students more processing time during the modeling process. Or when you call for questions.

Great DO NOW! You assessed the students in the beginning which was very effective. Slow down when speaking because you talk very fast.
I loved the music.

Great visuals- Make sure your power point is on the slide show , so that we can see the entire slide.

Wait time for student engagement and walk around more to check on students.

Love the artwork and the use of music. You may need to project your voice more. Getting student to help, good. Good energy. Give us an overview of what we are going to do, so that we get an idea of what's next. Hard to see the definition on the "Key" . Be careful of "dead air". Very engaging. Good choice of poems.
