My parents would tell me things such as open doors for your dates and other stuff like that. And if they saw me doing something that I should not, they would tell me like when I was younger I would push my younger sister and I learned never to push or hit a girl, everything I was taught was either through the experience of doing it wrong or through not having done it yet and being told that I should or not do this.
