I like how simple the character design was for Brandon Breyer, the mask evokes an uneasy feeling when he puts it on in the movie. You know something bad is about to happen.

The pressure of Brandon's parents, "friends" and the simple fact that he was an alien on earth is what drove him to become a madman in the film. I loved the plot of this film.

Most hero movies try to add tones of comedy and warmth but I love that this film evokes the exact opposite.

Some scenes in the film are very gruesome but it's cool to see the development of what we can do in films today.

I like that he didn't die at the end of the film which leaves a chance for the studios to continue the story of Brandon Breyer.

BrightBurn did not recieve the best of reviews but trust me, the film is ahead of it's time, and with this being the first attempt at a new genre, I think it's great.
