Evidence 1: At the beginning of the book Maxie is mean to Drita, but at the end Maxie is best friends with Drita.

Evidence 2: Brandy was always the popular girl in the class, everybody thought because Brandy has cool clothes she is cool and nice, but then she slapped Drita so then everybody thought Brandy isn't cool.

This shows that it is important to never give up because Trevor and Zoe did not give up even though they wanted to, and by the end, they found Marcus's witness that he was somewhere else, and he was able to get out of prison.
