In my personality, I tend to say what I want to. However, I learned a lot of things from this activities. So, when I talk with new person, I try to think about the value and religion underlied. I think that actions have great power since possibility of making great relationships is caused by pausing before speaking. Also, in my case, Japan is isolated so there are no more foreigners than other countries. So I hardly have ever thought about diversity but I could learn thought out this program. I am starting a social enterprise called "Books in Bloom" to tackle Australia's national literacy issues. For what I can currently start doing is volunteering in different organizations around my community like animal shelters or children in foster care.

For the future I am planning to apply for an AFS exchange program to broaden my Active Global Citizen skills, have completely new experiences and share with different people around the world. I want to help teach my fellow Americans how to respect and support Indigenous people and their culture. I want to start by sharing this petition with you all. There are so many things I wish to do! I have always wanted to get out into the world and make positive changes, but I wasn't sure where to start. Thanks to this program, I now have so many skills that all my dreams are just bursting with excitement!
I would love to go back to France to practice speaking French, I wish to study abroad somewhere completely new to me, I will look into volunteering at my Grandma's nursing home to try to see the world through the resident's perspectives, I have applied for a job helping younger kids in my dance studio learn about how to love/take care of themselves and grow as strong young people, and I will be looking into other volunteer jobs to make a positive impact on my community. I will keep in touch with my new friends from AFS to continue conversations about the world and how to make a lasting impact for the better.

My whole life I have wanted to hear and see the world in different eyes, and so I've wanted to learn french, learn how to cook traditional dishes from around the world, learn about other countries histories, and so many things that I can't write all down :).

There are several actions I want to do. I defenately want to travel a lot when I am old enough and learn a lot about different cultures.
I want to get involved the fridays for future community and in my school. I also try to write an article about this program for our school newspaper.
An action I want to do is to become an ally for a topic that is important to me.
To develop my 21st century skills is a big topic I want to do. When I have enough time I learn DGS by my self. It´s the german sign language and I do this to learn about the people who speak this and to understand them.

Life is a long journey and it would make a lot of sense if one has a set of plans or ideas that one would like to explore and commit themselves to it. And of course, I, myself would have plans and ideas that i would like to do before stepping into my grave.

On the top of my list is: spreading the importance of mental health and help prevent suicides. Suicides is the 4th largest cause of death in the world, this statistics show how blissfully are most people ignorant of mental health. As a fellow who is going through a rough patch in life, i can definitely vouch for those who are currently suicidal. It is hard to deflect those thoughts and I'm pretty sure it crosses your mind too many times a day. I want you to know that IT IS OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY and IT IS FINE TO ASK FOR HELP.

Second on my to do list is to actually do well in my current studies in order for me to do the course I want in a few years time. I realise that I am running out of time to improve and do better.

Third on my list is to be part of a social group in my community that can help change and save lives.

I want to thank everyone for participating in this program. I hope we will have the chance to meet in the future! To touch more people’s life in developing world, I have an idea to establish a kind of software programme or an application for donations or helping projects. Using my involvement in these projects, I would like to make a difference and improve my community and eventually work towards making a positive difference in the world. I am also very passionate about science, so I would love to research the fields I am interested in to further improve the world using that research.

I want to go and study in Japan some day, so I am learning Japanese and I also look forward to making it into the AFS Kakehashi Exchange Program too.
